Students aspiring to enrol into +3 Degree Courses are informed that the Higher Education Department has launched the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programmes (AEDPs) in collaboration with the Board of Practical Training (BOPT) to enhance skill development and employability. These courses are designed with collaboration from industry representatives. Implemented in selected institutions across the state, the programme integrates on-job-training in the form of apprenticeships with academic learning. Credits will be assigned to the apprenticeship component as part of the academic curriculum. For the current academic session (2025-26), the following six AEDP course are being offered - 1. B.Com in Logistics Management and Commerce 2. B.Com in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance and Commerce 3. B.Com in Retail Operations Management and Commerce 4. B.Com in HR Operations and Commerce 5. B.Com in E-Commerce Operations and Commerce 6. B.Sc./B.A in Food Science and Hospitality Operation and Home Science Principals/Heads of Institutions are requested to raise awareness and encourage students to take admission in these programs, especially focusing on the AEDPs their institution plans to offer.
